Located on Moi Avenue opposite the Hilton Hotel, National Archives houses exhibitions of arts and crafts, including some superb tribal artifacts gathered from across Africa, which were part of the private collection of avid art collector and former vice-president (1966) Joseph Murumbi. This gem also there’s also a fascinating gallery of photographs covering Kenya’s history from the building of the Uganda Railway to the present day, as well as the library of archives housing hundreds of thousands of documents.
