Located in Kiganjo, Kenya’s most popular police training hub, the Commonwealth grave also know as Nyeri War Cemetery is a collection of 368 Commonwealth war graves from World War II. Four of the burials are unidentified yet and one soldier is commemorated by a special memorial. The cemetery also contains two non-war burials and one French war grave. Nine Italian graves have been removed. As you walk into the cemetery, serenity greets you with the view of perfectly manicured lush green lawns beckon you inside to take in their sheer beauty. Today the Cemetery is are immaculately cared for, in honor of the fallen heroes for their noble sacrifices.
