Take a drive around the accessible parts of the reserve as you enjoy an up-close encounter with thousands if not millions of pink flamingoes, other aquatic birds like the pelicans and geese as well as the spectacular scenery within the reserve. The reserve is also home to Africa’s most unique antelope, the greater kudu. They can best be seen in the evening when they come down to the lake to drink. If you are lucky enough, you may get to see zebras, impala, Grant’s gazelle, Klipspringer, buffalo, dik-dik and Patas monkey, among others.
