Suguta Valley
The Suguta Valley, also known as the Suguta Mud Flats, is one of Kenya's remotest and hottest places. The Valley is simply a stretch of the Rift Valley between Lake Baringo and Lake Turkana which offers some of the most spectacular desert landscapes, majestic cathedral rocks, flocks of Pelicans at Lake Logipi, and beautiful sand dunes.
Located just south of Lake Turkana, the temperatures here often reach up to 50°C.
