Also known as the Chagaik Arboretum. The scenery is an enclave of tropical jungle, formed by lush green grass and a variety of indigenous tree species, surrounded by orderly tea plantations. It has a small dam located at the bottom of the valley and a very reliable spot for Colobus monkeys, insects, and forest birds. The Arboretum is located about 10km from Kericho on the Kericho-Nakuru Highway. It is a scenic site that comprises abundant green grass and various endemic tree species enclosed by well-tended tea estates. It is pretty much ideal for picnics and family outings.
