Sirigombe Island

Sirigombe Island 1

Legend has it that in the olden day’s residents of Yimbo used to pasture their cows here over the dryer season.  As it goes, in one of the period of prolonged a marshal of “herders” left their cattle unattended for 6 months on the Sirigombe Island. When they returned they found these cows had long turned wild, and could no longer withstand their faces!  Myth or not the desolate island is girded in a bubble that stirs up the imagination and the feeling of a cast-away-paradise.
