Sergoit Hill is a nondescript landmark feature and a rock outcrop that rises up above the Uasin Gishu Plateau. It is located on the west side of the Great Rift Valley and situated at an elevation of about 6,857 feet (2,090 meters), above sea level according to some sources, with a healthy climate that attracts tourists. The Hill is surrounded by prime agricultural lands and lies on 400 acres of land, which also doubles up as a wildlife sanctuary. Until 2011 the property was the Kruger Family who has lived at the foot of the Hill since 1908. It is now owned by the Sergoit Golf and Wild Resort.
