Ruma National Park is the only terrestrial park in Kenya’s Nyanza Province. Dubbed the “Last Retreat of the Roan Antelope”, the park protects. It is the largest national park in Western Kenya and you can see a variety of wildlife here including Oribi Antelopes, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Chimpanzees, and rare birds such as the Blue Swallow. The park′s scenic terrain comprises riverine woodlands, open grasslands, cliffs, and escarpments. There is an affordable lodge nearby where you can stay during your trips to the park.
