Ronald Ngala Mausoleum

Ronald Ngala Mausoleum 1

Completed on 30 December 2012 that marked 40 years since the passing on of one of Kenya’s most iconic founding fathers and assuredly the most revered from the Coast region, the mausoleum celebrates the life and times of Ronald Gideon Ngala: The leader of the Kenya African Democratic Union Party – from its creation in 1960, until its dissolution in 1964.  Ngala later became a Cabinet Minister of Cooperatives and Socio Services in the Kenyatta’s Government. He remained active until his death in a “mysterious” road accident in Dec. 1972.
