Nairobi National Park
Nairobi national park is the only National park in the world within a capital city. It's also Kenya's most accessible National park. Established in 1946, Nairobi National Park is home to the densest concentration of black rhinoceros in the world. These rare black rhinos were moved here from other parks in the country to save them from poachers. Lions and hyenas are also commonly sighted within the park and the park rangers at the entrance usually have updates on lion movements, thus making it easy to spot a few.
However, you'll need a bit of patience and a lot of luck to spot the park's resident cheetahs and leopards. Other regularly spotted species include gazelle, warthog, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, and buff also. The park's wetland areas also sustain approximately 400 bird species, which is arguably more than in the whole of the UK.
