Nabuyole Falls

Nabuyole Falls 1

Nabuyole waterfall, formerly known as Broderick during the colonial period, is the only waterfall found in the western region of Kenya located about seven kilometres from Webuye town in Nabuyole village within Bungoma County. The river rises from Cherengani hills and drifts downwards to a place in Nabuyole village where it’s divided into three tributaries and that’s the point where the fall originates, each tributary forming a fall of its own hence known as a tripartite Nabuyole fall. The fall is surrounded by magnificent environment and a beautiful scenario that captures major parts of rich and unexploited beauty of the Western part of Kenya. Several tourists especially local ones are common visitors who are seen but on few occasion the international tourist especially those who are on a research visit the place in small numbers.
