Muliro Gardens

Muliro Gardens 1

Named after Elijah Masinde Muliro – one of the countries freedom fighters from Western Kenya– Muliro Gardens boasts a variety of tropical trees, among them the bamboo tree, thanks to the region’s tropical climate. The park is public and was established by gold prospecting colonialists in the region way back in 1930. Gazetted into a national museum site in 2002, the park offers a good relaxation environment and fresh air.
