Lord Macmillan Castle is a single-storied, 32 roomed castles with underground bunkers was built in the early 1900s by Lord Macmillan – a decorated American soldier and knighted by the King of England, even though he was not British.

The castle displays the mid-1900s architecture with story high ceilings, underground bankers, ceiling doors, frames and beams supporting the roof being oak wood imported from Scandinavia. The Castle has housed some of the greatest people in history like the former US President Theodore Roosevelt in 1911, and former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.
