Kazuri Beads

Kazuri Beads 1

With branches at the Capital Centre, Galleria Mall, Village Market, The Junction Mall, Westgate Mall, and on the coast in the Diani Shopping Centre, Kazuri has been in existence since 1975. From the outset, Kazuri has been committed to providing jobs for women in need, especially single mothers with no other source of income. Clay is purchased from small farmers in the highland region of Murang’a, northwestern Kenya, and the women make it not only into colorful beads but also a stunning range of hand-thrown pottery and ceramics. Kazuri means “small and beautiful”.
