Marsabit County is Kenya’s biggest county and situated in the arid north along the border with Ethiopia. On its western side are Lake Turkana and the Chalbi Desert – an area with a rich rock art heritage. Kalacha Rock Art which is Located on the edge of the Chalbi, North Horr, is a land of a myriad allure. The ancient rock engraving, predominantly animals, are associated with rainmaking dated back over 1000 years
