Gogo Falls

Gogo Falls 1

Gogo Falls is an archaeological site near a former and since 1956 dammed waterfall, located in the Lake Victoria Basin in Migori County, western Kenya. This site is important to archaeology as it includes some of the earliest appearances of artefacts and domestic animals in the area. The dam which was built on River Kuja in 1957 provides a capacity of about 60 watts and is a primary source of power for the towns in the county and water for the dams.
