Surrounding the Mathews mountain range, Namunyak is a rich expanse of lush indigenous forest which hosts abundant populations of wildlife and rare plant species. Discover several thousand elephants that live in the Conservancy especially the southern Mathews Range area, in addition to a variety of other species including leopard, giraffe, wild dog, and kudu. This rangeland makes game drives and seeing wildlife very easy. Due to its size, Namunyak is divided up into three management units; Naluwuon, Ngilai, and Kalepo – all of which are managed separately.
