How to get there
There are several ways of accessing the county of Embu, depending on your current location and preferred mode of transport. If you are traveling by road from Nairobi, you can opt to use the Makutano – Mwea route and then branch off at Embu town.
Another alternative if traveling by road is to use the Thika – Garissa highway and then branch off at Kiritiri. Both these options work for those using private as well as public modes of transport.
One can also get to Embu County via air by using Embu airstrip from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport or any airport with the capacity for a private plane.
How to get Around Embu
Most of the hotels and restaurants which offer accommodation have their own modes of transport for hire. For those that do not, they have chauffeur services, which offer self-drive as well, that they would recommend depending on the activities you want to do.
