Bomet County is nestled in the middle of Narok, Nyamira & Kericho counties and it is one an important route as it paves way for Narok towards the well-known Maasai Mara National Reserve, thus putting the town at an advantage as the locals sell traditional ornaments to the tourists who stop-over for a quick break. As with other counties in Rift Valley, Bomet is largely populated hosting over 1M residents most of which are from the Kalenjin community.
