Wasini Island.
Welcome to Wasini Island in Shimoni, South coast. Located 3 kilometres off the coast of the Indian Ocean, 75 kilometres south of Mombasa, Wasini features only footpaths of sharp old coral or sand. There are no auto cars, carts or bicycles. Cargo is transported by foot or by a wheelbarrow with a solid tyre. Here you can indulge in dhow trips, swim with the dolphins, spend a romantic night & even visit the Shimoni slave caves.
